The Darkling Thrush and Hare Stained Glass Arch, Large

This design was inspired by the poem ‘The Darkling Thrush’ by Thomas Hardy, where a bird bursts onto a desolate world singing a beautiful and hopeful song lifting the speaker’s spirits. There is a special beauty in coloured glass that does lift you when the light catches it. This is a very popular design and I vary the colours and flowers in each one that I make so no two are ever the same.

It comes ready to hang in your window with a copper hook at the top.

As with all my panels please note that stained glass uses lead so I advise that the piece is used for decoration purposes only and is not to be handled by children. Please wash your hands after handling.
